Is this a person trying to escape this horror? Or are they a messenger of it? Love it, love it, love it, and cannot wait for the next. Awesome work!

Depends on your point of view. The tentacles are actually coming from the lantern as the light itself. ;) I really, truly appreciate you taking the time to check these out and give me some amazing feedback. I hope you will enjoy #9 tomorrow as well! :aww:

Nope, not a painting, just pen and markers. I haven't painted in many years. :)

Not famous, not even close, haha! But thank you for being so kind.

lol, thanks. It was worth all the frustration I suppose. ;) You should know how I roll by now. I don't like to create stories in the 'normal' sense. I like to draw pieces that make ppl create their own story. Landscapes are my zen.

You flatter me as always! <3

Well, depending if you are a detail freak like me, the ultra fines are the way to go. They come in a ton of colors and you can do everything from line art to full color masterpieces with them. They don't bleed as badly as the fine ones do and they give you more control. The Sharpie pens don't bleed at all, so they are extremely easy to work with, great for doing the linework and then coloring in with ultras. It takes a while to get it down pat, but you can shade with them. For my colorful pieces, I created a 3 color gradient system to get the look I wanted. And you have to layer them in the right order, or it will look fucked up. Hope this helps! :D

ok... this is a nice picture but its the picture of black and read plus the dark figure with a lantern in a forrest that reminds me of slender and haunt which r some of the worlds scariest games that i'v played and they gave me nightmares for months... my point being this picture scares the shit out of me.

haha! So sorry for the creep out, even though that was the intent of this piece and the rest in the series. It's def not Slender-based, but I can see where you would get that vibe. I appreciate the comments! :D

XD Not a lot of ppl know yet, but these pieces are being turned into a comic book that I am working on with another artist here on DA. They are creepy for a reason, and the story will come together soon. ;) Thanks again for all the kind words!

awesome!! I work best with pencil, but I love to do markers, I recently spent almost 200$ of my Christmas money on markers alone XD I live and die by my markers, but I can really see talent when it's there :) and your work is practically screaming it :D
