I know. I live in KC and we were the hottest and driest in all of the US for 2 1/2 months. We got some rain from the hurricane last week, but that was it. Still 100 damn degrees here in September! Sick of it.
Our rain helped the drought situation, but it def made the humidity go through the roof here as well. I used to live an hour or so from Memphis, so I know exactly what southern summers and humidity is like and I don't miss it one bit.
I remember going school shopping with my mom as well, and I agree, it was never 100 degrees in freakin' September. We were wearing jeans and long sleeves! It's amazing how the weather has changed the last 15-20 yrs.
Quitting smoking is tough. I've had many family members and friends that have tried and failed several times. Just hang in there, bc it's worth it to quit.
So sorry to hear about your parents. I know you may not care about your mother, but I still hope she will be alright. I haven't talked to my father in 13 yrs, and as much as I hate him, he's still my dad and I do remember times when he wasn't a total loser asshole. And I know it must be hard on your father to have to deal with the fact your mom is sick. It takes it's toll on the whole family.
I know you aren't complaining, and you know you can always rant and rave to me about anything you like anytime. I care about you and you've always been a great friend to me.
WOW!!! It's like that scene in The Empire Strikes Back were Vader and Luke are fighting in the carbonite works, Luke falls in the pit and Vader goes, "All to easy!" Luke flies up into the hoses and Vader goes, "IMPRESSIVE!!!" Once again the Mistress of Da Sharpie does not disappoint! Love the design and color. Reminds me of a killer plant like the Venus Flytrap!!!!
lol. My art teacher was amazing. Let me do whatever I wanted. Free to choose any subject or medium and be as content as I wanted. By the time senior year rolled around for me, I was the only student in Advanced Art IV. Good times...
