very nice...not sure if ya intended it that way but has an appearance to me of a tree missing bark and smooth...if you know what I mean like ever seen a tree like that?

Thank you! :aww: I wanted this tree to be a little different than the others. It is inspired by a tree found walking the grounds of the Nelson Atkins museum here in KC. It's textured, but just slightly. I also wanted this one to be completely black and white due to the heavy color in the background.

The museum is literally a 2 blocks from my house, we go all the time. We went to the Kemper contemporary art museum the other day, then walked over to Nelson Atkins to just sit in the grass and draw. When it comes to trees, there will always be more from me. :aww:

Yes, it is very nice and we always enjoy it. :)

The weather has been pretty good for the most part, not too extreme. We've had a fair amount of humid days that you def want to stay indoors. No where near as bad as last summer where it was cranking out 105 degrees for 3 months solid! I lived in Walnut Ridge, AR for 8 years, and used to go to Memphis all the time, so I know exactly how bad it gets in the summer with the humidity. It's insanity!

I love the trees, so shapely and elegant; and the rest, it's like a forest of mosaics. Really pretty

How long does it take you to do all those shapes?

For a piece like this, the background can take about 4-5 hours from line to color. Average time spent on a piece as a whole is 10-15 hours, depending on the level of detail. :)
