I was shocked to learn today that Giger passed away just a day ago as a result of a fall. Most of you probably know that H.R. Giger is one of my favorite artists and a major influence on my work. (for those who don't know, check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.R._Giger and then watch Alien :eager:) I discovered Giger when I was 12 when I found his book Biomechanics in the Ventura, CA Barnes and Noble and was blown away by his universe of weird detail.
